El \u00cdndice es el instrumento m\u00e1s completo para medir la situaci\u00f3n de 140 pa\u00edses y jurisdicciones en materia de Estado de Derecho. Este a\u00f1o, los datos muestran que la adherencia al Estado de Derecho cay\u00f3 en 61% de los pa\u00edses encuestados \u2014 incluido M\u00e9xico. Globalmente, 4.4 miles de millones de personas viven en pa\u00edses donde el Estado de Derecho es m\u00e1s d\u00e9bil que el a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p><p>El ejercicio refleja las perspectivas y experiencias de m\u00e1s de 150,000 personas en todo el mundo y de m\u00e1s de 3,600 especialistas para medir el Estado de Derecho a trav\u00e9s de ocho factores: L\u00edmites al poder gubernamental, Ausencia de corrupci\u00f3n, Gobierno abierto, Derechos fundamentales, Orden y seguridad, Cumplimiento regulatorio, Justicia civil, Justicia penal. Los puntajes de estos ocho factores se promedian para obtener un puntaje general de adherencia al Estado de Derecho en cada pa\u00eds.<\/p><h4><strong><span style=\"color: #482d8b;\">El Estado de Derecho en M\u00e9xico<\/span><\/strong><\/h4><p>M\u00e9xico ocupa este a\u00f1o la posici\u00f3n 115 de 140 pa\u00edses, retrocediendo dos posiciones comparado al a\u00f1o anterior. Entre las tendencias m\u00e1s importantes en el pa\u00eds en esta edici\u00f3n destacan los retrocesos en el sistema de justicia civil y el debilitamiento de la ciudadan\u00eda y la prensa como contrapesos al poder, adem\u00e1s de un estancamiento en la lucha anticorrupci\u00f3n. No obstante, el pa\u00eds muestra fortalezas en materia de Gobierno Abierto, en el respeto a la ley en su transici\u00f3n de poder, as\u00ed como la integridad de sus elecciones.<\/p><p>El <strong>Informe M\u00e9xico<\/strong> del \u00cdndice Global de Estado de Derecho 2022 muestra d\u00f3nde se encuentra el pa\u00eds, as\u00ed como sus fortalezas y debilidad a trav\u00e9s de los ocho factores, as\u00ed como los puntajes, posiciones y tendencias desde el 2015 hasta nivel sub-factor. Este Informe para M\u00e9xico refleja un panorama de los avances y retroceso en materia de Estado de Derecho a nivel pa\u00eds.<\/p><p><em>\u201cEstamos saliendo de la pandemia, pero no de la recesi\u00f3n global del Estado de Derecho,\u201d<\/em> declar\u00f3 Elizabeth Andersen, directora ejecutiva del WJP. <em>\u201cEn el fondo, el Estado de Derecho se trata de equidad\u2013es decir, rendici\u00f3n de cuentas, igualdad de derechos y justicia para todos.
